Why is my computer blocking torrenting websites?
Posted by admin in Google tablet Monday, 19 April 2010 23:33 3 Comments
I just purchased a new HP Pavilion tablet PC. I was looking to download a torrent, so i google searched the name of one. It took me a couple tries to realize that none of the torrenting sites were working. Every link I clicked on failed to load. I also can’t download anything off of rapidshare, mega upload, or anything like that. Is there some sort of wierd software blocking me from accessing these sites and downloading? Does anyone know of this sort of thing? Please respond.

Would you buy this computer on ebay?
Posted by admin in Digital Reader Cases Tuesday, 13 April 2010 03:40 5 Comments
Intel LGA 775 motherboard (pretty good board according to reviews)
GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express Video card
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 Ghz
2 GB DDR2 ram
500GB Western Digital hard drive
20x DVD R DVD burner reader
see through case with colorful lighting (strobe light inside that responds to music)
450 watt power supply
Do you think this would sell for $1100 to $1150?
I haven’t built it yet so I can’t provide a picture
I would try to make $50 to $100 profit than the sum of the parts themselves.
Also Windows Vista is included and the disc is s hipped
How much do you suggest I sell this custom built computer for?

Here’s the details:
HARDWARE:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.0 GHz, 1 gig of RAM, NVIDA GeForce FX5500 video card (has S-Video Out), wireless G PCI card, DVD ROM (no RW), Western Digital 160 gig HD, built in memory card reader, Antec case and power supply.
Software:
Win XP Service SP2 (all updates including IE and WMP), AVG Anti-Virus, Office XP 2003, Bitlord, WinRAR, LimewirePRO.
I’m including a brand new keyboard and mouse too. I’ll also throw in the 17″ monitor and a set of Logitech x-230 2.1 2-Piece Dual Drive Speakers with Ported Subwoofer.
Also, it has neon lighting.
