Here is a head to head comparison between the Apple iPad Vs. The Amazon Kindle as an eReader. The iPad is a great device that allows a basic computer user to check their mail and surf the web as well as use some apps that will stream video like ABC and Netflix. At the end of the day, the iPad will give you more options along side an eReader but you will spend twice as much and will require a 3G subscription.
