    Actually, the packaging is the exact same now in the USA. No fancy packaging now.

    i can definitely think of advantages to having these. If you have 100 books at home you have to store them somewhere. Here you have them all on the device. It cuts down on all the paper spent producing books. When you go on vacation and want to bring a few books with you now all you need is to bring this not 3 heavy books to lug around.

    Kindle DX is £300, books are not much cheaper on Kindle format but even it they were 20% cheaper, a saving of £2 on a £10 book would still take you 150 books before you broke even!

    I dint think that it will ever pay for itself as the books are not really any cheaper on Kindle
