Hello I going to build a new computer and I want to know if these are good parts for the computer please reply.
a Antec 900 midtower computer case
A intel core 2 duo extreme quad core x67
four gigs of Corsair DDR2 ram
eVGA.com EVGA nForce 680i SLI motherboard
two XFX 8800 GTX’s
Two Western Digital WD Raptor X WD1500AHFD (10,000 rpms)
ZALMAN CNPS 9500 LED prosesor fan
Four 120mm fans and
a 200mm fan
a CD drive that is lightscribe compatable CD/DVD reader and the speed is 16x
Can you guys please reply and tell me if this is a good computer.

What the heck are you running with this? Personally I think it’s overpowered for today’s home-user applications.
It’s almost a top of the line gaming rig. The only way you could upgrade it more is to go duel processor and water cooling.
This is going to be a hot box for a few years regardless.
Let me guess…you are a gamer. That system should be able to handle anything you can throw at it. I would also recommend a second CD/DVD drive if you are going to be burning “backup copies” of purchased material. But since you’re going top notch, why not reach for the Intel Core 2 Extreme quad-core QX6800?
Yes, it’s really good. The RAM is very high, hardly anyone uses or even needs 4 gig. Most people have 512mb or 1 gig.
I don’t understand the “x67″. But the processor is great.
I tell you one thing: This computer will be really expensive. Probably worth around $1500 or $2000.
