Aluratek internet radio playback problem with Norway’s NRK radio stream. vtuner list site as WMA. Other wma stations work fine , mp3 stations seem fine. Just certain wma stations even not NRK will not connect BUT all connect fine via the vtuner website. This is a WIRED connection. UPDATE: They promised to fix this and STILL have NOT done anything to correct it. This is a NO BUY radio until they fix this bug. Look at Logitech instead , better reviews and not much more money.
I just bought the Aluratek AIRJ01F USB Internet Radio Jukebox to plug into my computer and get 13,000 so I can’t wait till it comes in the mail. Hope its a good product. My question is why are the NRK stations better than the other ones you can get on to?
I tested nrk today and it did work.
update: the NRK Norwegian stations are now working. the firmware was never updated so this leaves me to believe it was the radio station server that they use….. when I emailed them originally they claimed it was aluratek’s fault but maybe it was theirs.
But I specifically wanted those stations and they promised to fix it and they have not…… I would have returned it but they promised to fix it. I feel they sell a defective product and refuse to acknowledge the problem and fix it. Even though they told me they saw the same problem….
I have the same radio with a wired connection. As of today, those stations still don’t work. I’ve found other stations that work on the net and not on the radio. I haven’t done it in awhile but try getting the URL and manually putting it in. I think I’ve done this before. I usually just skip stations that don’t come in and I love my alluratek.
They still have NOT fixed this problem! They said they would and still no go , I will NOT recommend this radio until this is fixed. Buy a logitech instead….
