How to enable automatic screen rotation on tablet pc?

I am using a toshiba satellite, and it was recently “re-vamped”; windows xp was reinstalled and all that due to adware problems. But it was an older version of tablet xp, so I went to microsoft’s site and downloaded service pack 3. Now everything is up-to-date, except for the fact that when I switch from notebook mode to tablet mode, the screen doesn’t rotate to the portrait orientation. So now every time I want to rotate the screen, I have to do it manually and it is very annoying. I have looked all over google but can’t seem to find a solution…does anyone know how to fix this?

  1. There’s a little application on Toshiba’s website that enables the buttons on the screen. Same application enables auto-rotation on my laptop.

    Hope this helps.
