Sims 3 is my computer compatible?

I just bought a gateway NV5207u below are the specs.
I want to buy the Sims 3 for it .I want to be sure before I buy since you cannot return it once it has been opened.I tried posting this on the forums on the Sims 3 website,unless you own the game and have a serial code you cannot post on the forums.The system requirements section on the website does not list what it needs to run on windows 7 .I’m hoping to find someone on here that has some experience with the game and windows 7.I will also link the system requirements part of the website for the game.

lol you really went above and beyond w/ the specs. But yeah your computer will run it. Now it might not be able to run it w/ the most beautiful graphics and it may get a little choppy at times, but all in all, you’ll be able to play it.
well, for one thing, if you just bought a new computer that is equipped with windows seven, the odds of it not being able to support the game are very small. my brother owns the game and plays in on a mac book that is a couple of years old, and it plays fine. I also tried it a few times on my laptop and it ran fine.
secondly, you don’t need to talk about all of those specs. the only specs that have a great deal of influence on a laptops compatibility are the operating system and your graphics card. everything else isn’t necessarily crucial, and is fixed buy a download of direct X or the like.
