I love this cover. I was concerned about the color of the green, but was pleasantly surprised when I received it. I would describe it as a medium lime color. The cover itself is nice and sturdy, and I like the added weight of the cover with my Kindle (I was always afraid to break my Kindle before putting the cover on, it just seemed a little too dainty without it).

The spine was a bit stiff when I first got it. Since using it, it has gotten significantly better. The leather tab can get in the way depending on hand placement, but it doesn't bother me enough to detract from my overall oppinion of the product.

I've had this case for my Kindle for a few days now. It's very nice looking / feeling considering the price was so economical.
It's easy to open, easy to fold back to hold, and the color is pleasing.
It was a little tricky to get the "spine" hooks properly inserted but once I figured that out the rest was easy. I really like the tab/strap that holds the case closed. My main concern in purchasing a case was that I wanted one to protect the device inside my purse - this seems to do that very well.
I noticed a few reviews said that the corner straps cracked their Kindle. The straps on mine fit perfectly - not tight enough to crack or damage, but tight enough to hold it in place.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

The kindle is elegant, lightweight and thin. Once you put this heavy, bulky, overpriced cover on your kindle, you are have basically ruined a lot of its portability.

Now that my kindle is in this cover, its 4 times as thick, 1.5 wider and twice as heavy.

I only bought this cover because I bought the light, and then realized that i need the cover to use the light. One mistake followed up with another.

I will probably only use this cover when I am on an airplane or other dark place.

I did just get my new kindle and cover today, so this review only covers the last few hours... I do not like that i had to purchase a cover separately from my new kindle, but on the other hand I do like that I had the chance to choose my cover instead of just the plain black one that came with my first gen kindle.

I like the sturdiness that this seems to have. I love that it locks my kindle safely in the cover. With my first generation I just removed the cover to read my kindle.

i would recommend a magnetic or snap or even the elastic band closure though, as the latch is a little tricky and then you have to tuck it out of the way.

Otherwise I do like this cover.

I wish that amazon had grouped the covers a little differently on the site, as I am interested in the cover that flips lengthwise as well... c'est la vie. I like this one plenty. For the price it is a little flawed though.

The cover is great - great quality, attractive, really protects my Kindle well. I love that the cover flips all the way behind the Kindle.

My one issue: What about a book light? It was tough finding a book light that would fit in the cover. I bring it back and forth with me on trips, and it's a pain to have to carry a book light separately.

I wound up bringing my Kindle 2 w/ the case to Barnes & Noble, opened up all of their book lights, & found one that I could fit inside the case. I wound up fitting a slim one in the middle crease.

I don't know what the pockets on the case are for: They are very tight and you can't seem to be able to use them for anything, unless you want to put a small piece of paper in there.

All in all, excellent quality and I would highly recommend the product.
