It looks and feels like it is made well. I love this color as well. It snugly holds my Kindle so there are no worries about it sliding out while in my purse or backpack. However, because it is a snug fit, you have to put some oomph into pulling it out. I wonder if an elderly person or child might have a hard time with it.

Also, there is not a slit on the bottom of the sleeve for charging the Kindle while it is in the sleeve.

Overall, I would recommend this product. I read many reviews that said Kindle covers using hinges will eventually damage the Kindle. That's the main reason I purchased this one, and I'm glad that I do not have to worry about the cover meant to protect my Kindle will eventually damage it.

I bought the M-Edge leather case with hinges but read that many customers have noticed cracked cases as a result. I bought the sleeve as a second option despite the fact that I have a feeling cracked cases come from folding the covers back. I tend to read my Kindle without the case though because it is more comfortable. I love the sleeve case and its style. It fits in my purse, school bag, etc. It's snug enough to keep it safe too. This case is just as secure as the one with hinges. I bought the hinges case 2 weeks ago and already the top hinge comes loose. This style of case does not have that problem and the loop at the top is actually completely secure. I'll be using this case from now on.

I love this cover. The design is terrific, being able to slip the Kindle in and out with ease is great. My only complaint is that the color is not as pictured, it is more of a burgundy purple instead of a deep purple. And while I know it could just be my computer monitor, I also own another purple M-Edge cover that was not as pictured and is different than this one. I actually like it, however, this one, I don't know. I'm sure it's only a matter of dye lots and all that, but I'm somewhat disappointed in this color and am considering a return for that reason only.

I wanted something to protect my Kindle while I was traveling and camping. This sleeve fits the bill perfectly.
