I have used the sleeve quite a bit both by itself and as extra protection when my kindle 2 is carried in a cover. Very pleased with the product, easy on and easy off. I had considered a decal/skin but I am changing up covers about every couple of weeks and don't always choose to use the silicone sleeve and didn't want the hassle of re-applying the decal. No complaints with the silcone cover sleeve.

I wanted to get something to protect my Kindle. I looked at a few different products, but this one seemed to be the best option at a great price. The skin and the screen saver fit perfectly.

This cover didn't turn out like I expected it would. I was disappointed in the flimsy edges. They stick up and don't lay flat like I think it should. I found that to be very distracting. I also couldn't see the buttons and since I am new to the Kindle, I had to keep peeking under the edges to see which buttons to push. The one thing that it nice about it is it gives you a better hold on the device. I ended up taking it off of miy Kindle and just inserting it into the other cover I had also purchased.

When I first received my Kindle for Mother's day, I was skeptical. I stare at a computer all day and hate reading from it. Most of the time, I will print what I need to read instead of reading directly from the screen. Headaches, backaches, boredom, and eyestrain are among the few pet peeves I have for reading from the computer screen.

When I read my first book on Kindle - Edward's Twilight - I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and how great the reading experience is! I can change the font when necessary, go back'n'forth from the menu to the exact place in the book where I left off, and shop and download from the Kindle store in minutes!

I haven't read this much in years and I love it! That said, I only download books for "leisure" reading since I like to flip around in my reference books (self help, cooking, etc).

My Kindle is my "baby" and I take it everywhere with me! I charge it during the night when I notice the battery is getting low and off I go!

The selection of books for the Kindle at Amazon is great. Searching for favorite authors or genre is very easy and the supply seems endless. I still consider myself a "new" user and I'm learning about the online community and how to archive materials. Other than that, I am VERY happy with my Generation 2 Kindle and thrilled to recommend it to anyone who asks ... "what is THAT?"

This product is terrible. The screen protector is impossible to place and its' adhesive is too strong. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to get it off and that was using my drivers license. Thankfully I do not ruin the Kindle's screen.

As far as the silicon skin is concerned; it is too thick to be used along with Amazon's case for the Kindle 2. In my mind this makes it useless. This was to be added protection along with the cover. Who wants to keep taking it out of the cover to place the skin on it. Then take the skin off to place it back into the cover. It is easier to fold the leather cover back and leave it in there.
