Great product. First bought one for my mother as a birthday gift, then had to buy another one for my father – they said, that one is not enough for them!

After being really impressed with another Ectaco product that I had gotten as a present (see my review of the XL-1500) I convinced my company to buy this for our team because we are doing a lot of business in Russia these days. I had to demonstrate it for the bosses and everyone was really impressed with how straightforward it was to use and how fast and responsive too. It seems really accurate for the type of business we conduct. . It would be nice if the screen was in color but I am now trying to convince the company to upgrade it. I am also using the device to train the new sales reps and translate contracts. It’s working like a dream and I am confident that it will help our business enormously.

easy to use and suits my needs nicely – it would be even better if it spoke in Russian as well as english

The keyboard is not sensitive enough and it takes ages to re-type letters pressing twice or even three times on some keys. I was expecting to have a more reliable device for this money.
