At this week’s CTIA show in San Diego, Qualcomm’s FLO TV division introduced the FLO TV Personal Television, a dedicated device that uses a service that’s already available on some phones. More videos at www.networkworld.tv
I upgraded to LG Vu because I thought it would be great to not miss my favorite shows when I’m away from home. I am disappointed to find out that the mobile networks do not air the same episodes that are airing on the home television. No USA network, TNT, or Sci Fi channel; and I still have to record the new episodes of Chuck, LOST, Caprica and Big Bang Theory. However, I do get live Fox News Channel coverage. It isn’t a total bust.
FLO TV the or good i d have 1
i get this on my Motorola phone and i use it to kill time between classes and watch CNN and Cartoon Network lol
hmm… how is the word fail any different from any other word in the dictionary.. ?
you are so cool for saying fail!
didn’t dish network have something like this pocket dish or something like that
only 20 channels… fail
iphone and slingbox is better
Flo tv is too expensive .
This is beyond dumb, It’s the size of my iPhone and if I wanted a portable tv I have a 9″ portable with free air channels.
@lilcrazyaznboy $14.99.. $149.00 for a year.. or $199.00 for 2 yrs
if they strike a deal with the mta subway then they may sell, otherwise i dont see much more than what a cellphone offers.
How much is it a month?
hopefully, the makers will make a feature where you can record episodes. that would be great. this is so cool, i’ll have to get this once the price lowers and a newer version comes out
no, just a tv
fuck you
…..you’re absurd.
wait, so its a phone and a tv?
@CandysAllMediaReview Thanks. I would have not been to surprised if it was weekly.
monthly of course. Yearly is absurd
@CandysAllMediaReview 15.99 for how long monthly/weekly/yearly/daily
damn same prices as the psp go
…expensive.
it is an actual flo tv device not just a “plan”
you get 6 months free with the device and after that it’s $15.99
FAIL!
