I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother and he just loved it. The brown leather gives it the feeling of an old book that is well-loved. It arrived in great condition and fits the kindle like a glove.

I think the cover is a little bit overpriced but overall it’s a good, sturdy cover.

This cover does its most basic job, that is, it protects my Kindle from day-to-day abuse. However, it seems a little cheap (my threading is coming undone) and can be cumbersome to hold while reading. But considering what else is out there, I think it’s the best option and my Kindle has lasted a year without so much as a scratch.

I bought this in late July 2009 and now its already broken. I can not find a way to contact them directly which amazon is telling me to do. The hinges are bent and broken. I read a lot, isn’t that the point of the kindle? I have not removed it from the case since I put it on. I used my Kindle for the first time in about 2 months and when I opened it, I saw the bottom hinge was bent and not sitting properly. I removed the kindle from the case and the other prong is bent as well.

It appears I have no recourse other than writing a review. This product didn’t last me 4 months.
