M-Edge Flip Kindle Jacket , Black w/Tan

I am very please with my M-edge kindle jacket. After looking at several I found this one was able to serve all my needs. It really protects my kindle without being to bulky. I needed a jacket that could easly fit into my purse without taking up too much room. I can stand it up to read and have even attached it to the steering wheel of my car when parked and having a bite to eat. When completely open I can still attach my light for reading in the dark. I am very pleased and would buy this item again if and when it was needed. It is very well made.

I’m very happy with my M-Edge Flip Kindle Jacket. It does exactly what I wanted, protects my kindle from scratches and my two year old. It’s light weight and feels good in my hand. I prefer reading my Kindle with the jacket on now. I noticed a slightly chemical smell when the jacket first arrived but it quickly faded after airing out for a few hours. I purchased the black and tan cover and it hides any stains that would possibly show up. I’d buy this product again.

I bought this for myself, and my wife stole it for her Kindle!! So, it must be nice. I adopted the other M-Edge cover we had in the house, the one made for the book-light, which is also very nice but somewhat bulky. This cover is much slimmer and fits nicely in your bag, but still provides adequate protection for your Kindle.

After hearing so many great things about the Kindle, I finally caved and bought one. No surprise, I love it. I asked friends and family who have K2s what case they bought, which caused some heated answers. Apparently EVERY case that attaches with the side hinge system, Amazon-made case included, cracks the Kindle. When looking at the side of the device it makes great sense that metal hinges levered against a metal back would crack the plastic face, but I’m no engineer.
Anyway, I looked for one that didn’t employ the side attachment and found this case. I could not be happier. At first it felt a little cheap, but it has grown on me a little. Looking at it compared to the amazon-made case, it is the same thickness and offers the same amount of device coverage. The attached band surrounding the case provides great protection against the case flipping open when you don’t want it to, and is not very noticeable or annoying when the case is open. There is also slot specifically made for a light on the side of the case, not surprisingly also made by M-Edge. Definitely consider this case.
Sidebar: I also bought a neoprene sleeve designed for a netbook, just to add some extra coverage for when it rolls around in my briefcase. I guess I’d rather buy 2 cases for $50, than buy a whole new K2.
