M-Edge Prodigy Synthetic Leather Kindle Jacket with Hinge , Royal Blue
I recently ordered and received the M-Edge Prodigy Jacket for my Kindle but had to return it. The inside lining of the jacket, described by M-Edge as microfiber, had a strong chemical odor, and the fumes gave me a mild asthma attack. I have clothing that’s microfiber but haven’t had any problems before this with that fabric type. I’ve occasionally run into this problem before – it appears to be a chemical used in processing some types of materials manufactured in Asia.
I don’t know how common this reaction is, so just consider this a word of caution if you’re considering this product and you have any respiratory issues.

I wanted protection for my Kindle… something cute and lightweight. This cover was exactly what I was looking for; love the blue color, folds back nicely for reading, feels solid like it’s good quality, and it’s lightweight/durable.
With my new cover, my Kindle not only looks good but I can take it everywhere (dump it in my purse) and not worry about it being damaged.

After about a week of browsing for the perfect kindle jacket I definitely made the right choice with this one. I read about a lot of jackets where the cover was hard to bend back for easy reading and I can don’t have that problem with this one. Its durable on the outside yet delicate on the inside-the perfect combination. My favorite part is that it looks like a day planner so I don’t need to worry about looking like a snob with a cover that might make the fact that I own a kindle more obvious.

The product is very nice. Works very well with my Kindle, however, since I live in Canada the cost of shipping and handling will prevent me from ordering anything more for the Kindle (ie: light, screen protectors, etc.)

This is an absolutely awesome case for the Kindle 2. Not only does it have a great spot to place and tuck away their own reading light (M-Edge e-Luminator2 Kindle Booklight (Fits 6″ Display, Latest Generation Kindle)), the case itself is very compact and looks great, too. It holds my Kindle in very tightly, and the elastic corner straps on the right keep it from flopping around. The only slightly annoying thing is that it can be a tad difficult to put the tab back into the slot to keep the case closed, but not annoying enough to warrant less than a 5 star rating.
