Dude I just got the dv5t from hp and its great. It has the same specs as the first one but i upgraded to the higher resolution screen and got the 2.26 processor instead. And I only got 2gb of ram but I upgraded to 4 off of newegg for like 60 bucks. The 9600m gt plays all my games no problem. You won't even notice a difference with the slower processor. Get a student discount and 5% off coupon and its under 1100 shipped with tax.
