Hp Pavilion Elite D5200t Or Velocity Micro E2250?

Which one? Same price, Velocity has the SLI upgrade option and liquid cooling, Hp has the more memory and larger case. Need professional opinions.

  1. The better computer would really depend on what you are going to use it for, i see you like the sound of the 64bit windows OS, just so you know the 32bit OS can have a max of 4GB of RAM which is plenty to be honest, unless your going to be playing multiple games, browsing on the internet, doing a virus scan and playing music etc etc etc you won’t get the most of 8GB of RAM, 4GB can do all that fine too. Furthermore you should know that not many programs currently don’t make good use of quad cores. The sound card in the HP Pavilion is alot better than in the Velocity so if your into great audio and have great speakers to match i would say that the HP is slightly better (and obvioulsly because of the processor too). However, intel and nVidia work really well together so this makes the Velocity slightly better on the graphics front, but to be honest with a ATI Radeon HD 4650 i don’t think you’ll notice much difference. If this was my choise i would choose the HP. (i have one myself and its brilliant :) !)

About the SLI motherboad on the Velocity, i would only ever recommend using SLI technology if you have money to burn, if you do then you ned to find a better deal, otherwise i would just ignor the SLI, the minor improvements simply are not worth the cost for the general public. So go get that awsome HP!!!!!

    Hope this helps!
