This product is well made, smart looking, and is ideal for protecting the Kindle and yet allowing easy access and reading, whether being hand held or using as a stand for holding the Kindle on a table or counter. I also felt the pricing was reasonable.

I bought the Mocha Brown cover after having ordered the Pebbled Saddle Brown cover from M-Edge. The Saddle Brown was a dull flat tan. This is a rich, warm brown color. I’m very happy with it. (I wish Amazon would stock it instead of having to order it from the manufacturer which prevented me from receiving the 10% discount and free shipping from Amazon.) It’s made of good quality leather with nice contrast white stitching and grey suede interior to cushion and protect the Kindle. It also has pockets to place notes or business cards and a pen holder, which is helpful, just don’t overstuff it. I bought the platform version so I could read it when eating or in bed. The platform/easel works well but on some flat surfaces the weight of the Kindle can keep it from staying upright. I agree with other reviewers that the leather strip which closes the cover can get in the way. I would recommend M-Edge shift the leather strip to not be on the Kindle side of the cover, but on the opposite side. This would make it easier to keep out of the way when reading. You wouldn’t have to fold the strip back behind the cover to read more easily. A magnetic closure also might be better than the leather strip closure. These two issues: the leather strip placement and the fact that the easel feature doesn’t always work are the reasons I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall, I’m pleased with the cover and am glad I bought it. I feel it will do a good job of protecting my Kindle DX.
