I had 3 wifi radios: sangean, denon and aluratek.
Only de Aluratek don't interrupt the transmision on the 256 kbs, the two others has problems, and every minute made a interruptions. The 3 radios I play with the same wifi internet conection. So aluratek win.
This radio is only a reception device, so the quality of the sound will be as the quality of your speakers and main equipment.
Be advice, that the sangean and aluratek has problems with the remote control reception if you have flourecent lights nears to the equipments.

Looks great and works for a short of period about several weeks. In the beginning it's plug and play after that WIRELESS mode stop working only WIRED mode keeps working. Trobuleshooting with Aluratek support and got RMA.

When I first heard about Internet radio, I got very excited. I have three XM radios because I live in a small town (Athens, GA) and can't (or couldn't) get any Atlanta radio stations or very many high quality stations. All I got was either country or religious stations.

I got the Aluratek AIRCO1F WiFi and now everything has changed. I just attached it to my stereo system, it picked up my WiFi quickly and I started searching for stations all over the world. Of course I keyed in Georgia and found several Atlanta stations including 790thezone which carries my college team's home station. Now every morning (I work from home) I listen just like I was back in Atlanta. The quality is outstanding.

Just for fun I went to stations all over the world, the reception was just like I was in the local city, maybe better. It was interesting to see how many stations all over the world play American music. Must be the first step in world peach. :)

I thought it was just what i needed. Bought it, set it up......and it didn't work..
5 days later Tech said the product does not work with my wireless router (Linksys). Wish they had told me before i purchased it, paid shipping, got an RMA, and paid shipping back. Be Carefull of this product.

Got this product as a Christmas gift. The internet radio player is really easy to use. Simply connect the audio output to your home receiver and choose wireless connection to the internet or plug in an ethernet cable. Using the wireless feature I found the connection really seamless (I just had to remember the password to access my wireless network). The remote control is very easy to use and I quickly added 3 favorite stations. Would recommend this product to any regular listener to internet radio as it beats trying to log in to individual websites via PC then trying to configure the Windows Media Player!
