OCTO Faux Leather Kindle Sleeve

I was looking for a very simple cover to protect my Kindle DX. This sleeve is perfect. It’s snug enough to keep the reader in when handling, even when briefly turned open-end down. Even with the snug fit, it’s easy to remove the Kindle. Very pleased with the decision. Though the petroleum smell is a bit strong when first unwrapped, a day or two in open air dissipates it enough to begin using.

It has a comfortable, snug fit and the Kindle is well protected. I think the cover could be a little thicker and stronger for the price. It achieves what I desired; it protects my Kindle very nicely and won’t slide off while I carry it.

I spent a lot of time looking for a protective cover for my Kindle DX. After investing $500 on the DX, I needed something that would afford some measure of protection against bumps and jars. Flimsy but decorative covers were out. I also wanted a low-profile cover; therefore, I dismissed the hinged covers. The OCTO Faux Leather sleeve fit the bill. The “faux leather” is more like a smooth rubber. Sleek and modern. Fits in my briefcase, and it doesn’t add a lot of weight. No buckles or velcro to undo — the Kindle slips out with a firm tug. The rubberized material is somewhat rigid, so it will protect the Kindle’s glass screen against most jostling. I could have spent $80 on the OCTO genuine leather sleeve, but I’m glad I didn’t. All in all, I am happy with the $35 faux leather sleeve.

I bought this cover to protect my DX Kindle after a substantial investment. It slides in easy and does a nice job of protecting the product. This is a “kiss” product that is simple and works well.OCTO Faux Leather Slip Cover (Fits 9.7″ Display, Latest Generation Kindle DX) – Dark Brown

The OCTO faux leather kindle sleeve is perfect for protecting your kindle. It prevents scratches when placed in a briefcase, is lightweight and comfortable to hold, protects the screen and allows for charging while sheathed. All-in-all and excellent case for your kindle. I couldn’t be happier with it.
