Holding a “naked” Kindle in your hand while reading is not the most ergonomic experience in the world. Adding a cover makes it feel much more like a real book (and you can balance it on your chest while lying down and reading, too). This is my second Kindle, and second cover. Wouldn’t have it any other way….

I have the new generation Kindle for about a year, now. I love the way it reads, and I have never had so much fun reading before. The ease on my eyes is wonderful, and the ability to change the font paramount. I originally purchased the leather case from Amazon to house my Kindle. It would fall out at times, even when clicked in the metal hinges at the side. Lucky for me, my Kindle was never affected. But, I was always nervous. I like to read at night, in a car. I purchased the light that clips on to the Kindle. It was a great source of light, IF I remembered to take the light. Along comes this cover. It not only holds the Kindle securely in place, there is a place for a light to store along side the Kindle, even when not in use. The leather is soft, and of a superior quality. When closed, there is an extra tab that secures the top and bottom parts of the cover. I’m thrilled! I chose the light pink cover, as part of the purchase price goes toward breast cancer research, and that was important to me. Try it, in one of many colors. You’ll love it, as I do and now I take my Kindle along without worry.

I bought the Amazon cover when I first bought the Kindle. It was nice and protected it. BUT with this new cover…..some improvements have been noticed. I like that there is space in the spine that will hold the light and earphones. I like that there is a place opposite where the Kindle sits to put a notepad. I like that there is space to put a pen and still put the strap into the outer portion to hold the whole “book” together. It seems to work great! I may get it in a different color.

Love this cover. Looks great and the Kindle fits in it perfectly. Not too heavy, but protects my Kindle well.
