M-Edge Latitude Kindle Jacket , Navy Blue w/ Grey

This cover fits great! It protects my Kindle completely. It is light and attractive. It doesn’t have much storage space but suppose it would be too bulky if it did. The only thing I would like is if it had small handles to carry it with. The color (blue) is great because it doesn’t soil easily. I am glad I bought it even though it is a little pricey.

this is one of the best products I could have ever purchased to protect my Kindle. Now I can put it in my purse and not be afraid that something will scratch it or get it messed up.

This cover fits the kindle well. I give it four stars, however, because it does not fit the kindle’s power plug very well. It will go in but you have to really stuff it in there — would work better if the outer pocket was made of a more pliable material. I’ve ordered the E-Luminator which hasn’t arrived so but we’ll see how well this works when all three are in their places — seems like it will be a very, very snug fit.
I like that the cover is light and sturdy. I’ve had no problems zipping the cover around the kindle. This product is NOT waterproof and will soak up water. I know this because I had an unfortunate accident where the cover was left in a little puddle of water and it soaked through to the fleece lining. It was in water overnight (my bad) so I don’t hold it against the product – just an fyi if you are looking for something more water resistant.

I bought the M-Edge Latitude case for my Kindle 2 after reading lots of reviews, and after 4 weeks of using it I’m fully satisfied. It’s exactly what it claims to be–a sturdy, sharp-looking, accessible Kindle case. Zippers give easy access and allow recharging while the cover’s closed, and the front cover folds all the way back for reading. The elastic corner tabs hold the Kindle firmly; you could shake the case pretty vigorously and the Kindle wouldn’t fall out.
Only 2 downsides that I see to this case: storage pockets in the front and back are more decorative than functional, so if you’re looking to store your USB adapter or other accessories with your Kindle all the time, you should pick a different cover. Also, the cover is ultimately reinforced fabric (i.e. layers of nylon/microfiber with firm cardboard or plastic inside to give the cover form and sturdiness); it’s not tin, so it won’t protect your Kindle from a poke with a sharp stick.

Like many others I spent a considerable amount of time researching different covers for my Kindle 2. I settled on this cover by default in that I was scared away by reviews of other types of covers and holders that make use of clips attached to the side of the cover/holder and which seem to crack the Kindle after a period of time. The Latitude makes use of 4 elastic straps that secure the corners of the Kindle 2 within the cover/holder. Thus far (after about 2 weeks of use), the straps remain secure as does the Kindle. I have had no problems with the zippers catching on the corners of the Latitude as expressed by some reviewers. Again, perhaps with the passage of time and product revisions, this is no longer an issue. The inside is felt-like and well padded to protect the Kindle; the Latitude does provide the user with the ability to open it and use it like a book, or the user can fold the cover such that one part of the cover is behind the other, again for ease of reading and use. I do like the two-zipper design that allows the user to keep the cover in a mostly closed position but open at the bottom so as to be able to charge the Kindle with the cover completely closed. As expressed by some others, the outside zipper pocket can hold the AC power cord and with some arranging the actual AC plug. However, inserting the plug in this pocket does cause a bulge on the outside of the cover. This is the reason I gave the Latitude 4 stars.
